The band incorporates a wide range of music from 1950 to now. Their repertoire includes jazz standards, r& b, pop, rock, funk, dance, Latin and reggae. CSM are noted for stringing together songs from different eras: music seamlessly flows from one tune to the next. Whether your style is up on the dance floor or easy listening, CSM are an outstanding act.
Individual members of the band have completed tertiary music studies both in Australia and America and crossed many styles working with artists such as Glen Shorrock, Vanetta Field, Lee Conway, Richard Clapton, Grace Knight, Steve Grace, Jackie Love and Adrian Ross. Collectively, they have opened shows for some of the biggest names in entertainment today: Stevie Wonder, Andrew Strong and the Commitments, Marcia and Demi Hines, Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, The Neville Brothers, Cold Chisel, Kate Ceberano, Ian Moss, Vibraphonic, Ronnie Jordan, Margaret Urlich, Split Enz, DIG, The Wailers and Alan Holdsworth.
